Surgical lights


Lighting can be provided either using halogen lamps or LED technology.

  • Wall or ceiling mounting
  • Mobile lights (powered by battery or from power supply)
  • Additional equipment and satellites (cameras, single or double monitors, computers or control panels, IV stands, etc)

Surgical lights:
Used in operating rooms and operating theatres with illumination requirements exceeding 40,000 lux. PowerLED and H LED lightheads are setting new quality standards in terms of illumination, comfort and efficiency, while ensuring cost saving, integration and sustainable development. Although halogen lamps could still be supplied, they are being gradually replaced by LED bulbs.

Examination lights:
Used in examination rooms, out-patient clinics, specialised clinics, wound-care rooms or day centres. Illumination requirements between 10,000 and 40,000 lux. Lighting can be provided either using halogen lamps or LED technology.

Mobile lights:
Used as mobile surgical or examination lights, either as an additional or backup light source.
